Dr Hrishikesh Pai, one of the leading gynaecologists and amongst the pioneers in the field of infertility treatment in India, has been named as the 61st President of FOGSI, the Federation of Obstetric and Gynecological Societies of India. FOGSI is the professional organization representing practitioners of obstetrics and gynecology in India with 262 member societies and over 37,000 individual members spread across the country.

Dr Pai, Founder and Medical Director of the Bloom IVF Group, is one of the earliest gynecologists in India to foray into the world of Assisted reproductive technology (ART) in 1991 and has introduced many innovations in the field. He is also a leading teacher and academician and has many articles and research papers published in national and international books and journals.

He has been honoured with over 55 awards including the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Special Award to Eminent Medical Men for Distinguished Achievement of the Highest Order 2020-21 by National Indian Medical Association. Dr Pai is also the recipient of the prestigious Fellowship Endeum FRCOG from the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynecology, London, UK.
