Shah holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School, is a Chartered Accountant and a Cost Accountant
Pfizer's Board of Directors has appointed Pradip Shah as the Chairman of the Board of Pfizer. Shah has been on the Board of Pfizer since December 1999 and has been guiding the board and management on various financial and strategic decisions.
Shah is the ex-MD of CRISIL, a credit rating agency. Before founding CRISIL, Shah assisted in founding the Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) in 1977. Shah has also served as a consultant to USAID, the World Bank, and the Asian Development Bank. Shah is a Director on the Board of several reputed companies and is also a member of various prestigious committees/commissions. He is presently the Chairman of Indasia Fund Advisors. He holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School, is a Chartered Accountant and a Cost Accountant, and ranked first in India in the Chartered Accountancy Examination.
