The award was presented for Warke's extensive contribution towards the Indian microbiology industry and allied science
The Microbiologists Society of India (MSI) has awarded Dr Gangadhar M Warke, Founder & CMD, HiMedia Laboratories with the ‘First Fellow of MSI’. The fellowship was awarded in appreciation for his extensive contribution towards the Indian microbiology industry, and allied sciences, his outstanding direction, leadership and dedicated services as the founder of the media making giant.
The fellowship was presented by Prof KRS Sambasivarao, Vice-Chancellor, Mizoram University, in presence of Prof Arvind Deshmukh, President, Microbiologists Society, India.
