G S Krishnan, former regional president & MD, Novozymes South Asia, has taken charge as the new President of the Association of Biotechnology-Led Enterprises (ABLE).
He has a vast leadership experience, from developing the market for businesses across industries, to identifying new opportunities and strategic partnership, managing the organization across functions, from a 30+ employees to 550+ employees, representing the organisation as a thought leader in the segment with external stake holders and industry bodies.
Krishnan will head a 9-member executive council that was elected for a three-year term starting on April 1, 2021.
“India’s BioPharmaceutical segment has played a commendable role in the discovery and manufacturing of COVID-19 vaccine during the pandemic and we need to build on this great momentum and lead the world in playing a critical role, identifying our capabilities,” said Krishnan.
