Wadhwani Research Center for Bioengineering (WRCB), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has joined hands with Mumbai-based MP Biomedicals in a first-of-its-kind Industry-Academia collaboration model.

Under this agreement, MP Biomedicals will provide free consumable credit and instruments (on loan) for IIT Bombay faculty and researchers.

This will help accelerate research at IIT Bombay by providing easy access to important and frequently used consumables, kits, reagents, and equipment to our faculty and researchers.

This is a unique model in Indian academia sector that typically faces more barriers to timely project completion due to lower funding availability and slower turnaround times for research instruments and consumables compared to their global peers.

MP Biomedicals offers a diverse portfolio of life science products, fine chemicals, and diagnostics used in industries ranging from basic research to clinical diagnostics and pharmaceuticals.
