DSS Imagetech announces launch of hydrophobic slide marker nCircle

New Delhi-based DSS Imagetech, distributor of NeoDx Biotech Labs, has unveiled nCircle that has a unique non-toxic indigenous developed formulation to do away with all the health risks associated with the regular Pap Pens available in the market.

nCircle is a hydrophobic slide marker used to draw a water-repellant mark in any shape around a specimen on a slide in immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry, immunofluorescence, and in situ hybridisation.

The product has the following features-

• Enables drawing of a hydrophobic (water-repellant) mark in any shape around a specimen on a slide
• Tip Width: 5mm
• Solubility: Acetone or Xylene, Insoluble in Alcohol
• Formulation: Indigenously Developed, Non-Toxic
• Barriers are stable at temperatures up to 100°C
• PAP-Pen is good for about 2000 applications.
• Not eroded by Triton X-100 or Tween20
• Confines the flow of reagents to a defined area
• Prevents mixing of reagents when differentially staining
• Conserves precious antibodies and reagents
