Claus joins Lupin from Takeda Pharmaceuticals, where he led the Global Strategy for Rare Diseases. Prior to that Claus was at GlaxoSmithKline, where he served in many roles including country head in  Asia, and Global franchise management in Immunology, Respiratory and Neurology therapeutic areas. Claus has launched major brands like Ellipta in the U.S.  and led Advair and Seretide success in Europe and U.S.
