To promote high-quality bio-innovation and leverage the expertise of both institutions

Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre (BBC) has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mazumdar Shaw Medical Foundation (MSMF) to deepen and strengthen the R&D activities in common areas of focus, promotion of startups and commercialiSation of latest technologies in broad areas of healthcare. The collaboration aims to promote high-quality bio-innovation and leverage the expertise of both institutions.
BBC and MSMF have mutually agreed upon providing access to instrumentation and infrastructure facilities, Clinical Trials & Validation support, to researchers and startups of both institutions. BBC – MSMF joint research programs is one of the agenda to foster and promote spin-outs through its incubation support, funding network, mentoring, branding, IP and TT services. Building bio entrepreneurship would be the primary intent of this MoU.
