The Karnataka Innovation Leadership Awards are intensely researched process undertaken by the research cell
Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre (BBC) received ‘Innovation Leadership Award’ citation during Karnataka Innovation Leadership Awards ceremony organised by World Innovation Congress.
The Karnataka Innovation Leadership Awards are intensely researched process undertaken by the research cell. It is the iconic job of the research cell to produce a shortlist of individuals who are doing extraordinary work and track the record of their achievements. The shortlist is then reviewed by a jury comprising of senior professionals from across the globe.
Those who can make a difference to the lives of others were chosen. For the quality of their work, global reach and outlook and ability to contribute value of social change. Change can be quantified - especially since it impacts the lives of many.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Jitendra Kumar, Managing Director, BBC said, “It is an honour for team BBC to receive this award. It is great that the jury has looked into the institutions that have made the difference to the lives of others”.
He thanked Department of Electronics, IT, BT and S&T, Government of Karnataka and Department of Biotechnology, Government of India for their support. He also congratulated his team and start-ups being mentored at BBC who have worked tirelessly to develop and launch innovative products during COVID-19 pandemic.
