As part of its global initiative to align with customers worldwide, Pall inaugurated its newest life sciences Center of Excellence (CoE) in Bangalore in May 2007. This CoE includes a state-of-the-art process proteomics laboratory designed specifically to help customers speed the drug discovery process. The center will drive process optimization innovations for the global life sciences market to meet the evolving opportunities and challenges of this fast-growing industry throughout Asia. The center also includes a training facility and a validation laboratory with specialty experts to provide support to Indian companies as they increasingly enter the highly regulated drug export market. This will serve Pall's customers worldwide and provide India's pharmaceutical, biotechnology and discovery sectors with a full range of total process management solutions.

Currently, Pall is setting up a new Center of Competency in Pune to provide complete engineering solutions to the global market for Pall's housings and systems portfolio. In addition to its operations in India, Pall serves the Asia-Pacific region with facilities in China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

The company supplies a series of products like air and gas barrier filters, capsule filters, centrifugal devices, cross-flow systems, diagnostic-monitoring equipment, filter assemblies, filtration systems, lab water systems, microarray slides and syringe filters.

Pall's biopharmaceutical filtration and separations products are used for production of biotech products and biopharmaceutical products. Pall technology is found in contract and OEM applications, formulation and filling operations, quality control laboratories and R&D process development labs.

Pall also supplies a wide range of media, filters, and systems to remove contaminants from liquids and gases. These products, along with the filtration and separation technologies, enable to fulfil diverse fluid purification requirements.
