Reva Institute of Science and Management, a unit of Divya Sree Group.
The trust established this institute in 2002. The department of
Biotechnology at the institute offers MSc Biotechnology with an intake
capacity of 56 students, MSc Biochemistry with an intake capacity of 20
students and MPhil in Biotechnology with an intake capacity of two
students. All the courses of this institute are recognized by Bangalore
University, while MPhil is affiliated to Bharathiyar, Annamalai and
Periyar Universities.
The institute has seven laboratories for biotech students. The
laboratories have latest equipments that can fulfill the research needs
of biotech students who aspire to become researchers. Each laboratory
can accommodate 16 students at a time. Library with its vast selection
of subject-oriented books helps enhance knowledge of the students. To
enable students to access international journals online the institute
has provided 25 computers with internet facilities.
