A 200-bed hospital will be set up, which will have integrated secondary and tertiary care facilities such as state-of-the-art MRI machines, CT Scan, cath labs and gastroenterology services

Ujala Cygnus Group of Hospitals has acquired Central Hospital in Kusumkhera, Haldwani to operate a 200-bed well-equipped hospital with all modern equipment. Central Hospital will be rebranded as Ujala Cygnus Central Hospital and will be upgraded by adding integrated secondary and tertiary care facilities such as state-of-the-art MRI machines, CT Scan, cath labs and gastroenterology services. The collaboration marks the third Ujala Cygnus Hospital in Uttarakhand after its two hospitals in Kashipur.

“In Ujala Cygnus Hospital, Haldwani, Ujala Cygnus Group of Hospitals will bring its healthcare expertise and manage the day to day operations. This move will help us improve the availability of secondary and tertiary care to the large population in Haldwani and its adjoining areas,” said Probal Ghosal, Chairman, Board of Directors, Ujala Cygnus Group of Hospitals.

“Our hospitals in Delhi, Haryana, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh have been instrumental in filling a major void of tertiary care in these areas,” said Dr Shuchin Bajaj, Founder & Director, Ujala Cygnus Group of Hospitals.
