To procure the most cost-effective drugs in the right quantities, selecting reliable suppliers of high-quality products, ensuring timely delivery and to achieve the lowest possible total cost are some of the main strategic objectives for any pharmaceutical procurement.

2. What are some of the main operational principles for good pharmaceutical procurement?

I believe that efficient and transparent management, drug selection & quantification, financing and competition along with supplier selection and quality assurance are the operational principles which can lead to a good pharmaceutical procurement.
