"India has just 4,000 speech therapists to cater to over 60 million people with speech disorders. There is a huge demand supply gap in the field, which is unlikely to be met in the short term by just focusing on increasing the number of clinicians. We feel technology is going to play a huge role in fulfilling the need. We also feel that awareness of speech disorders, and overall value of communication in a knowledge economy is on the rise among the populace. Post COVID-19, people have become very accepting towards the idea of online therapy."
