Cloudnine launches first PCOS and Menopause clinic

Expert team of doctors will comprise an endocrinologist, nutritionist, gynecologist and fertility specialist under one roof.

To mark the International Women’s Day 2019, Cloudnine Group of Hospitals, tricity’ s leading chain of maternity, childcare and fertility hospitals has  announced the launch of its first dedicated PCOS and Menopause clinic. This comprehensive clinic will aim at providing one stop solution for women of all age groups especially young adolescent girls and elderly women to discuss their problems with a team of doctors related to PCOD, lifestyle disorders, menopause, fibroids and endometriosis. Expert team of doctors will comprise an endocrinologist, nutritionist, gynecologist and fertility specialist under one roof.

This special women’s clinic will be operational at Cloudnine Hospital, Chandigarh once a week, every Thursday from 2 pm to 4 pm.  All appointments will start from 8th March 2019 through the helpline number 1860 500 9999.

At the sidelines of the launch says Dr.Pawan Kumar, Regional Director (North), Cloudnine Group of Hospitals “Within our complex system of long-term care, women's caregiving is essential in providing a backbone of support to the family. Speaking at the unveiling ceremony of the clinic, Dr.Seema Sharma, Senior Consultant – Obesetriction and High risk Pregnancy specialist, Cloudnine Group of Hospitals, Chandigarh said “the problem of PCOD is a very prevalent reproductive disorder in women these days and one of the leading causes of infertility among women today. At least 1 out of every 5 women today suffer from some kind of hormonal health issues and many aspects of the disorder are not understood properly as its symptoms and severity vary greatly. There is a need that early diagnosis and treatment is offered to help and prevent any kind of health problems in women. Through this clinic, we aim to connect with women of all age groups and offer a well-rounded treatment approach to manage their health”.
