Metropolis Healthcare partners with IAP to conduct Academic Teaching Programme This two day programme will focus on standardising pathology reports of cancer specimen.

Metropolis Healthcare Ltd, global chain of pathology labs and diagnostic centers announces its partnership with the International Academy of Pathology – Indian Division (IAP-ID) for a mid-year teaching programme.  This two day programme will focus on standardising pathology reports of cancer specimen.

Dr. Anita Suryanarayan, Vice President (South India & Sri Lanka), Metropolis Healthcare Ltd, said “Metropolis has always been at the forefront of such innovations and has focused on regulation and standardisation. We have invited faculty from leading International & National Centres to get a global and wider perspective.”

Dr Kirti Chadha, Head of Department, Oncology, Metropolis Healthcare told, “A complete and accurate pathology report is crucial for getting a precise diagnosis and deciding on the best treatment plan for the cancer patient. With the help of CAP cancer protocols, the pathologists shall receive assistance that are clinically useful and have relevant information when reporting surgical specimen examinations.”
