Hyderabad-based Advanta bioKEMIX, the Indian subsidiary of the global bioKEMIX network, has announced the signing of a strategic joint venture with Resolkem, a Goa-based manufacturer of high-purity Gas Chromatography-Headspace (GCHS) solvents founded by industry veteran Anand Malage, formerly associated with Cipla.

The partnership marks a significant milestone in Advanta bioKEMIX's strategy to build an integrated, innovation-led chemical manufacturing ecosystem in India.

As part of the agreement, a new entity, Resolkem Private Limited, has been incorporated as a joint venture between Advanta bioKEMIX and Anand Malage. The newly formed company will acquire and operate the existing business along with the equipment of Resolkem, which was previously run as a sole proprietorship.

The joint venture brings together Resolkem's technical expertise and manufacturing capabilities with Advanta bioKEMIX's strengths in global market access, distribution network and supply chain integration. Together, the partners aim to create a leading platform for the manufacture of high-purity solvents catering to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, specialty chemicals, and advanced materials industries.

Resolkem Private Limited is uniquely positioned as the only manufacturer of high quality GCHS-grade solvents in India. The company currently manufactures a portfolio of high-purity GCHS solvents including Dimethyl Formamide (DMF), Dimethyl Acetamide (DMA), N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP), and Dimethyl Sulfoxide (DMSO). These solvents are widely used in the testing of products in Pharma, food , environmental and other chemical testing where stringent quality and purity standards are critical.

The joint venture has outlined an ambitious growth roadmap. Resolkem Private Limited plans to establish a significantly larger manufacturing facility by the 4th quarter of 2026, enabling substantial expansion of production capacity and diversification of its product portfolio.

The expanded facility will support the manufacture of additional high-purity specialty solvents and chemicals, while also increasing the capacity of its existing GCHS-grade product range to meet growing domestic and international demand.
