In order to recognize significant contributions made by Industry leaders, BioSpectrum awards was constituted in 2004.

BioSpectrum, at the forefront of providing bioscience & healthcare information to the world, constituted BioSpectrum Awards in 2004 to accolade the outstanding contributions made by Biotechnology Entrepreneurs, Thought leaders and other key members of the ecosystem who have been instrumental in promoting the growth of the industry over the years. Since then BioSpectrum has featured many of these remarkable personalities, companies & their leaders and highlighted their work and their ambitions through its print & digital media platform and BioSpectrum Awards gives opportunity to celebrate & acknowledge their achievements in an Awards Nite.

BioSpectrum would organize its annual Biotech Industry Awards Nite every year to honor the achievers in Indian Biotechnology industry. It used to be a "must-attend" event for the industry leaders in India and was attended by over 200 plus Top Key Executives and C level Aspirants from the Biotechnology industry in past.

BioSpectrum Awards 2020 in various categories will felicitate Top Biotech and health Science companies and their key achievers & leaders who have made remarkable contributions to their respective industry verticals in Biotechnology, Pharma & healthcare industry.

THE JURY:
Panel of experts/Jury will consist of seven members from different Industry verticals like – Biotech, BioServices, BioSuppliers, Industry body/ Association, Policy maker/ Academia – President/ Director General of the each associations – ABLE, FICCI pharma/ Biotech committee, IPA, OPPI, IDMA, IAIA, ACRO, Secretary of DBT, DG of ICMR, Senior industry consultants, Venture Capitalists, Director of R&D institutes. The Jury Panel will also include publisher and Chief Editor from BioSpectrum. The Jury panel will be chaired by Dr. Renu Swarup, Secretary, Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India.

GRAND AWARDS NITE:
The BioSpectrum Excellence Awards 2020 will be 12th edition and we plan to celebrate the Awards in a grand way. We may have all the past and present winners to join us at the Awards Nite. The 12th edition of the BioSpectrum Awards will be held in March 2020 at The Lalit Ashok, Bangalore starting at 1900 hrs followed by cocktails and dinner. The Awards Nite function will be telecast on a prominent National Business TV Channel and webcasted live on BioSpectrum YouTube Channel.
